BarZar understands the necessity of protecting the privacy of your data when you visit our website. The following outlines how we protect your personal information collected with your visit to our site. BarZar may update our statement on occasion as new programs, services and processes are implemented.

BarZar does not collect information, including email addresses, from you without asking first. In some instances, we may request you to supply information personally, which could include contact information like your email, street address, phone number or other information. This serves to personalize your visit to our site and APP to make it more beneficial for you. It is completely voluntary for you to provide this information, but when you do, we make the assumption you have agreed to our use of that data under accordance with this privacy policy.

Not sure is we need this clause BarZar does not intentionally use, collect or disclose client information on its website that is personally identifiable. You should not post information on our website that could be used to identify you. If we discover we have personal information, we will begin the process to delete the date as quickly as possible.

You must be at least 21 years old to receive permission from us to use our App and website. We will not intentionally or knowingly collect personally identifiable information about visitors under the age of 21.

When Information is Provided

When you share information with us voluntarily, that is implied consent for the collection and use of your data by our practice. BarZar will not rent or sell personal data we collect on this website to anyone.

BarZar may offer the option to register or purchase products online. During the transaction, it is possible that personal information will be collected. If that is the case, we may share that information with other parties to accommodate support services like credit card authorization or fulfillment of your order. By voluntarily giving us that information, you give BarZar permission to provide your data to the third parties that provide these services. You also agree not to hold BarZar responsible for any of the actions or omissions of these third parties.

BarZar may also collect non-personal information provided by your browser when you request a page view from your server. This information may include your browser time, IP address and access times. BarZar uses this information for supporting website and APP operations and to evaluate traffic patterns for our website.

Some of the statistics BarZar may collect and use includes volume, traffic patterns, referral sources, login activity and other information related to our website to support our operations. The information may be shared with third parties but will not include personally identifiable data of any kind. BarZar may disclose information in special cases where required, such as: 1. Follow legal requirements; 2. Defend or protect our property and rights: 3. Enforce our Terms and Conditions of Use; 4. Protect our users’ interests.

Occasionally, BarZar may be required by law enforcement or the legal system to provide personal information to the appropriate authorities. This information will be disclosed with a court order, subpoena or to otherwise cooperate with an investigation conducted by law enforcement. BarZar reserves the right to report activities we believe to be unlawful to the proper authorities or law enforcement agencies.

BarZar reserves the right to send mail or email regarding products or services to the personal information you have voluntarily provided. If you do not wish to receive these communications, we will provide instructions to easily indicate that desire as well.

Use of Cookies

BarZar may use Internet technology known as “cookies” to identify your device so we can offer appropriate website features to you that are compatible with that device. Cookies also provides us information about whether you have visited our website in the past. They do not allow us to collect your email address or other information from your hard drive. BarZar may use memory-based cookies to authenticate some of our website applications. The control of your browser settings remains with you, as you can choose to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or receive notifications when a cookie is sent. If you set your browser to reject cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of our website that require them.

BarZar reserves the right to utilize Google products like Google Display Network Impression Reporting, Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Analytics Demographics, DoubleClick Campaign Manager or Interest Reporting. You may choose to opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using Google’s Ads Settings. You can also utilize the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add On if you choose to prevent having your data used by Google Analytics.

BarZar will not initiate merging of your personal information with non-personal data collected from Display Advertising features based on the DoubleClick cookie unless we give you clear notice and you provide your consent for such action.

BarZar may use Remarketing with Google Analytics for online advertising. In addition, third-party vendors may insert ads for our practice on different sites on the Internet. This does include Google. Both BarZar and third-party vendors may also use first-party cookies (including the Google Analytics cookie) and other third-party cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) alone or in combination to optimize, inform and serve ads based on your previous visits to our website.

BarZar and third parties, including Google, may also use both first-party and third-party cookies, alone or in combination, to determine how ad impressions, other uses of ad services and interactions with these services are related to our website visits. BarZar may also use information from Google’s Interest-based advertising or data from its third-party audience, which might include age, gender, and interests. Date will be combined with Google Analytics to provide general profiles about visitors and determine how visitors might use the site. This information can then be used to improve the content, marketing and design of the website, as well as services and products offered here.

BarZar may use the Facebook.com Apple.com “conversion tracking pixel” to determine whether Facebook’s advertisements are effective for marketing purposes. This tool allows us to gather information on users’ actions after the user is directed to a third-party website through a click on a Facebook ad on this website. The data we collect with this tool does not include personally identifying information. However, Facebook may use this information according to Facebook’s Data Policy to show you advertisements on both Facebook.com and third-party websites that might be of interest to you. A cookie may be used to facilitate ad displays by both Facebook and its partners.

BarZar may also use Instagram, Facebook.com products tailoring audiences and conversion tracking. The products connect data from Instagram, Facebook advertising network to your own actions performed on the website. BarZar’s website contains links to other sites. While we try to only link to sites that share a high respect for privacy, BarZar is not responsible for privacy policies held by other websites. Information We Collect

As a business to business ("B2B") organization, BarZar collects names, contact details, and other Personal Data related to our commercial relationships. The information we collect is only used by BarZar for the legitimate business purpose of providing services requested by you.

If you express an interest in obtaining additional information about our services, request customer support, use our Contact us or similar features, register to use our website and APP, sign up for additional information, , or download certain content, we may require that you provide to us your contact information, such as your name, job title, company name, address, phone number, email address or username and password;

If you make purchases via our websites (see Section 1) or register for BarZar or client support, we may require that you provide to us your financial and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number or bank account information;

Information We Automatically Collect from Your Use of BarZar API and BarZar Marketplace.

We use common information-gathering tools, such as log files and cookies to automatically collect information that may contain Personal Data from your computer or mobile device as you navigate our websites or interact with emails we have sent to you. While some internet browsers offer a "do not track" or "DNT" option that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked, these features are not yet uniform and there is no common standard that has been adopted by industry groups, technology companies or regulators. Therefore, we do not currently commit to responding to browsers' DNT signals with respect to our websites. BarZar takes privacy and meaningful choice seriously and will make efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.

Log Files. As is true of most websites and APPS, we gather certain information automatically via log files. This information may include your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, your location, your browser type, your Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, the pages and files you viewed, your searches, your operating system and system configuration information and date/time stamps associated with your usage. This information is used to analyze overall trends, to help us provide and improve our websites and to guarantee their security and continued proper functioning. We also collect IP addresses from users when they log into our services as part of our security features.

Information We Collect from Third Parties.

Our website and APP may use social media features, such as the Facebook, Instagram "like" button, the "Tweet" button and other sharing widgets ("Social Media Features"). You may be given the option by such Social Media Features to post information about your activities on a website to a profile page of yours that is provided by a third party social media network in order to share with others within your network. Social Media Features are either hosted by the respective social media network or hosted directly on our website. To the extent the Social Media Features are hosted by the respective social media networks, the latter may receive information that you have visited our website from your IP address. If you are logged into your social media account, it is possible that the respective social media network can link your visit of our websites with your social media profile. Your interactions with Social Media Features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing the relevant Social Media Features.

Sharing and Disclosures

Affiliates. We reserve the right to share Personal Data within the BarZar group of companies as necessary for the purposes we described above.

Mandatory disclosures and legal rights. We share Personal Data in order to comply with any subpoena, court order or other legal process, or other governmental request. We also share Personal Data to establish or protect our legal rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others, or to defend against legal claims.

Service Providers. We share Personal Data with service providers to enable such parties to perform functions on our behalf and under our instructions in order to carry out the purposes identified above, such as marketing and web hosting. We require service providers to provide reasonable security for Personal Data and to use and process such Personal Data only on our behalf.

Business Transfers. We share Personal Data with any corporate purchaser or prospect to the extent permitted by law as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which Personal Data would be transferred as an asset of BarZar.

Aggregated Data. We may also share aggregated information (information about our users that we combine together so that it no longer identifies or references an individual user) and other anonymized information for regulatory compliance, industry and market analysis, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and other business purposes.

Auditors and advisors. We share Personal Data with auditors for the performance of audit functions and advisors for the provision of legal and other advice.

Webinar Hosts. If you use our websites to register for an event or webinar organized by one of our affiliates, your personal information may be shared with the affiliate in order to process your registration and ensure your participation in the event; in such instances, our affiliate will process the relevant Personal Data as a separate controller and will provide you with further information on the processing of your Personal Data, where required. If you attend an event or webinar organized by us, or download or access an asset on our website, with sponsors of the event. In these circumstances, your information will be subject to the sponsors’ privacy statements. If you do not wish for your information to be shared, you may choose to not opt-in via event/webinar registration or elect to not have your badge scanned.

Social Media. Any Personal Data or other information you choose to submit in communities, forums, blogs or chat rooms on our websites may be read, collected and used by others who visit these forums, depending on your account settings.

Other Important Information

Marketing Choices. You have control regarding our use of your Personal Data for directing marketing. If you no longer wish to receive any marketing communications, remain on a mailing list to which you previously subscribed, or receive any other marketing communication, you can choose to not receive such communications at any time. Please follow the unsubscribe link in the relevant communication or contact us as detailed below.

Children. Our websites and APP are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 21. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, please contact us at support@BarZarApp.com , and we will take steps to delete such Personal Data from our systems.

Analyzing your Communications. We may review, scan, or analyze your communications on the BarZar platform for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research, and customer support purposes. We will not review, scan, or analyze your communications to send third party marketing messages to you, and we will not sell reviews or analyses of these communications.

Data Processor. As described above, we may also process Personal Data in the role of a processor. If your data has been submitted to us by a BarZar customer and you wish to exercise any rights you may have under applicable data protection laws, please inquire with the applicable customer directly. Because we may only access a customer’s data upon instruction from that customer, if you wish to make your request directly to us, please provide to us the name of the BarZar customer who submitted your data to us. We will refer your request to that customer and will support them as needed in responding to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Persona Data Retention. We determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data on the basis of the amount, nature and sensitivity of your Personal Data processed, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Data and whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means, as well as on the basis of applicable legal requirements (such as applicable statutes of limitation). After expiry of the applicable retention periods, your Personal Data will be deleted. If there is any data that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further use of such data.

Your Rights

You have certain rights relating to your Personal Data, subject to local data protection laws. Depending on the applicable laws and, in particular, if you are located in the EEA, certain rights listed below may apply. To exercise your rights, please contact us by using the information in the Connect with BarZar section, below. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month and will contact you if we need additional information from you in order to honor your request. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month, taking into account the complexity and number of requests we receive. If you are an employee of a BarZar customer, we recommend you contact your company’s system administrator for assistance in correcting or updating your information. Some registered users may update their user settings, profiles, organization settings and event registrations by logging into their accounts and editing their settings or profiles. To update your billing information, discontinue your account and/or request return or deletion of your Personal Data and other information associated with your account, please contact us at support@barzarapp.com

The right to be informed. You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This is why we’re providing you with the information in this policy.

The right of access. You have the right to obtain access to your information (if we’re processing it). This will enable you, for example, to check that we’re using your information in accordance with data protection law. The right to rectification. You are entitled to have your information corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You can request that we rectify any errors in information that we hold by contacting us (support@barzarapp.com ).

The right to erasure. This is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’ and, in simple terms, enables you to request the deletion or removal of certain of the information that we hold about you by contacting us (support@barzarapp.com ).

The right to restrict processing. You have rights to 'block' or 'suppress' further use of your information. When processing is restricted, we can still store your information, but will not use it further.

The right to data portability. You have the right to obtain your personal information in an accessible and transferrable format so that you can re-use it for your own purposes across different service providers. The right to lodge a complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint about the way we handle or process your information with the national data protection authority.

The right to withdraw consent. If you have given your consent to anything we do with your information (i.e. we rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us (support@barzarapp.com ). Withdrawing consent will not however make unlawful our use of your information while consent had been apparent.

The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing and profiling. You can object by changing your marketing preferences or disabling cookies as set out above.

If you are a resident of California. If you are a resident of California and under the age of 21 and have registered for an account with us, you may ask us to remove content or information that you have posted to our websites. California law permits California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those third parties. Security

We maintain technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data from loss, misuse, alteration, or unintentional destruction. However, no security measure can guarantee against compromise. You also have an important role in protecting your Personal Data. You should not share your username and password with anyone, and you should not reuse passwords across more than one website. If you have any reason to believe that your username or password has been compromised, please contact us as detailed below.

Notification of a  Personal Data Breach To The Supervisory Authority

In the case of a personal data breach, the BarZar shall without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, notify the personal data breach to the applicable supervisory authority competent in accordance with the terms of the GDPR, unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. Where the notification to the supervisory authority is not made within 72 hours, it shall be accompanied by reasons for the delay.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements and other factors. If we do, we will update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Statement. If we make an update, we may provide you with notice prior to the update taking effect, such as by posting a conspicuous notice on our website or by contacting you using the email address you provided. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Statement to stay informed about our collection, processing and sharing of your Personal Data.

Acceptable Use Policy

General.  For purposes of this Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”), “Users” means any user of our Web-based services (“Services”). As specified below, illegal usage, abusive usage, unacceptable usage, and use of the Services to interfere with other Users’ enjoyment of the Services is unacceptable. From time-to-time, we may update and/or revise this Policy. Any such updates and/or revisions shall be posted online. Continued use of the Services by Users shall indicate their acceptance of the updates and/or revisions.

Prohibited Uses. Prohibited uses of the Services include the following:
1. posting or transmitting unlawful materials, e-mail or information;
2. posting or transmitting harassing, threatening or abusive materials, e-mail or information;
3. posting or transmitting defamatory, libelous, slanderous or scandalous materials, e-mail or information;
4. posting or transmitting obscene, pornographic, profane or otherwise objectionable information of any kind;
5. posting or transmitting materials, e-mail or information that would constitute an infringement upon the patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights of others;
6. posting or transmitting materials constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, national or international law, including without limitation, the U.S. export control laws and regulations;
7. posting or transmitting materials that would give rise to liability under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
8. attempting to “hack” root or user logins on another system, machine, or network;
9. using the Services in such a way as to impair or otherwise interfere with another User’s use of the services.
10. including any inappropriate third-party advertising; and
11. using the Services to commit fraud or engage in other misleading or deceptive activities.

Remedies. to any other remedy that we may have at law or in equity, terminate permission for the User to use the Services or immediately remove the offending material. In addition, BarZar may investigate incidents that are contrary to this Policy and cooperate with law enforcement organizations, and provide requested information to third parties who have provided notice to us stating that they have been harmed by a User’s failure to abide by this Policy.
